Ready for a change?

Ready for a change?  I know we are.  A string of steamy afternoons has pushed the opportunity for trout fishing to the mornings and midnights.  It hasn’t been as bad as it could be.  June’s rocketing temperatures were on crystal clear, blazing afternoons.  This past week has included afternoon clouds,

Early August Fly Fishing

July ended with some hot weather and it appears the start of August will continue with more of the same. With this heat, the water temperatures in the trout rivers are getting too warm at mid-day and through the evening making for dangerous conditions for the fish. Until water temperatures
