A few of us got out over the holiday weekend, and despite the heavy canoe traffic, low clear water and blue skies, the Trout fishing was decent. We caught several Trout on nymphs out of faster pocket water. Stoneflies and soft hackles were the main producers.
Wow! For the end of August we are experiencing a heatwave. Hard to think that we are on the cusp of fall with the temperatures we have seen over the last 10 days. Great to have some nice beach weather for the end of
