The “2025 Spring Steelhead Season” is officially underway!  It feels great to be getting out on the river everyday…hydro-therapy is good for the mind, body and soul!!!  Week #1 is in the books and it was a very successful week of fishing for steelhead

Snow storms and rivers

Lately, temperatures have ranged from moderate to downright cold, and the most effective flies on the river have been small stoneflies in brown and black, tiny caddis patterns, and midges. The key right now is to get them down low and let them drift slow.
